Weekly Letter, Week 18

Hi all... short week this one!


ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Visit to Hitoriska Museet in line with our Stone Age Unit,
Tuesday May 22nd, BRING PACKED LUNCH


Wednesday May 9th, a field trip to a film viewing "My Adventures" with the Svenska Läs Grupp... leave school 12.30, film at 13:00 near Sveavägen, be back around 14:30


Fritids Hemmensdag: Tuesday, May 8th: Fun, Games, Activities, Hot Dogs and Juice from 14:00 and on in the school yard!

HOMEWORK ISSUES:
The Scary Story was due today and I received only about half! I've decided to have "after school work time" for those that chronically forget homework. I call it, of course, "detention" duhn duhn duhn...logic being that if it can't be done at home, some other time must be taken.


THIS WEEK'S HOMEWORK:

MATH:

• Every Thursday, I will give a new Multiplication Speed Test based on the multiplication homework given the previous Thursday (in fact, it's the same sheet!).
• They have 3 minutes to get at least 34/36... then they move to the next level. If not, they repeat the homework and try again the next week.
• We had our first today!
• 2-3-4s were given to those that passed, and re-dos to those that didn't

GRAMMAR:

Every Thursday, from now until the end of the term, a new Grammar Pack will be given covering the things we learn in class. It's quite a large packet (6-8 pages), but the stuff is really straight forward.
