How To Practice: use
flashcards, drill a friend, write them out…
Part 2:
Regular, equal division,
using times tables…
24 = 4
6 24 = 4 6 x 4= 24
?
How To Practice: Know your
times tables by doing the Part 1 practice; make flashcards if you have to…

How To Practice: create your own problems and solve them;
know your times tables really well; use the attached homework sheet…
Part 4:
Multiplication: Equation Puzzles
4 x 1,2__2 = 4,000 + 800 + ___ + 8 = 4, 928

1 2, 4 5 6 5 x 3 = 15, carry the 1… 1 x 3 =
3 + 1 = 4…
4
x 3 = 12… 12,456
How To Practice:
Add the mellanled together
first, with missing number:

How much to get to the answer of 4,928? 120 more!

It’s 30, so put
a 3 in the missing place!
4 x 1, 232 = 4,000 +
800 + 120 + 8 = 4,928
Try These (again?)

READING LOG UPDATE
We've pushed the reading up to 2 hours a week, to be reached by week 39, so this week it will be bumped up to around 1.5 hours. Here's the deal with the log:
The QUESTION must be answered in full detail, with examples from the book... at least 2 paragraphs.
BOOK CLUB
If we reach 95 books as a class by December 18th, a big party will ensue!
That's 5 books each! EASY PEASY.
For any in-class book that will be used as a "Book Club" item, #13 of the reading log questions must be completed in full (a book report).
Evakuering till Immanuelskyrkan 19 sep 2013
Nothing you need worry about, just a "drill" re: evacuation. All is planned, nothing changes as far as school times (we "evacuate" at 9, back at 10:15)
