Best reading logs ever (seriously)

Title: The Last Leopard            Question: nr. 8,9,10

In this book I found one quote that really grabbed my attention and made me stop to think for a moment. This quote was so good that i'm going to answer three questions, and hopefully i'll be successful this time!

" If you could see your future you'd only choose the good stuff, the easy stuff. Then you would never learn and never experience the important things in this world because so oftentimes they's tha hard things." This is a very wise quote and the reason why it caught my attention is because it's true. At first I was just surprised and had to take a short brake. I wondered what such a true thing was doing in a fiction book. This quote wasn't "boring or " meaningless", it actually pushed the story forward. It made me think about foreshadowing and how this was the perfect sentence for that. I (kind of ) learned that not all things in a fiction book have to be fiction. There are many reasons for why I chose this exact quote (I could go on for days listing them all), but, the main one is because it was an actual fact ( depending on who you ask).
Comment I got from Andy: GREAT!

Title: The White Giraffe        Question: nr. 2

I liked this book especially because, the setting itself made feel so many different things in as many ways. I felt a bit scared when Martine was in the dark cave, I was super excited when Martine entered the game resort. The way the author described the story and setting, I felt like I was there in the cave or by the gate to Sawubona (the game resort).

While reading the book I laughed, smiled, got a little angry and even cried. I laughed when Ben tricked the five star gang -who were chasing Martine- into a suage outlet area. I got angry when Alex killed the kudu and smiled when Martine shoved her gift in his face (even if he never noticed) by saving it. I cried a little when Martine was saving a cut and bruised white (albino) giraffe from poachers. What i'm trying to say through all this is that the book was awesome.
