Re: Best reading logs ever (seriously)
Title: Fairy Lies Question: nr. 12
So far, I have only read two books by E.D. Baker, Unlocking the Spell and of course, Fairy Lies. His books are not only fiction and "happily ever after's". E.D. Baker takes different stories and characters (such as, Romeo and Juliet, The Fairy King and Queen's argument over the blue "boy", both written by William Shakespear), changes the morals, creates a different setting and makes his own books out of that. I still like fairy tales and that's one of the many reasons why I would like to read other books written by this same author.
I liked E.D. Baker's books because he took complicated morals and turned them into simple lessons. He isn't totally original since his books are based on other's stories. Though in a way he has managed to make them "original", he is capable of using someone else's story to create his own. Fairy tales are easy for both young and old to understand, this book is for all. My favorite and most valid reason for reading Baker's books is that he threads important lessons into them, making them fun to learn, instead of being dead serious, between life and death lessons.
Andy's comment:GREAT!
Slynk is one of Molly's parent's colleagues. When he finds out about Max's secret, he makes it his personal mission to capture Max and use him to do lots of tests on. Slynk plans on making himself rich. Slynk is a greedy man, he doesn't care about Max's opinion or how his family would react. I dislike Slynk because the only thing he cares about is himself and money. To me he represents greed, want and being blinded by it. Sometimes when we really want something we try hard to get it. We focus so much on what we want, that we don't notice all the side effects caused by us.

Title: Tiger Terror Question: nr. 14
My favorite character is Molly, before you say anything, no it's not because we're both girls, but because, first of all, she is very realistic and fights with her brother like kids usually do. She watches out for her brother and cares for him. Max (the brother) tells her his secret because he knows he can trust her. Molly is my favorite character because she isn't just some perfect "girly", make-believe character out of a barbie collection. I can actually relate to the way she acts.
