               '' We are all given second chances every day of our lives '' was the qoute i choose from the book. The qoute gives a message of hope and faith. Also that everyday is a new opportunity to do something and to change,you can't give up if something goes wrong one day you always have to keep on trying. That's a message I got a lot from the book because James never gave up and keept on trying and after that he found Bob his best friend.

               James gave some examples in the book of not giving up. For example James talked a bit of when he was a child he was bullied and as he got older got a drug addiction but then was able to get out of it. That was a big step for him and really shows that he got a second chance. Then when he was playing on the streets and when he found Bob and Bob choose him and showed James that he loved him, James knew that he could not give up on that cat and he didn't even though he was struggling with money.

               James Bowen is the author and the the one who was with in all the memories and expiriences in the book so how could there be a better aouthor. Thats basically why I think he is the best author for this book. He can descibe everthing that is happening so well because he has seen and feelt everything that has happened. Also he can describe the setting really well so it acually feels like you are there seeing the same things and feeling the same emotions.

               With no doubt i know that I would not change anything with the author or the book. I also think that parents and children in our class should read this book it is not to easy and not to hard to read.
