BRAZILIAN SISTER SCHOOL CONFERENCE CALL

Our conference is now offical... complete with a photojournalist from Lära Tidning.

The telepresence room at Ericsson Headquarters in Kista is booked for the class, for the "meeting" on Monday starting at 14.30 Swedish time. I don't think Ericsson has ever seen the likes of 25 nine years olds, so it will be great fun I am sure for all involved.

We will be leaving school at 13:00, to be there and ready by 14:30 for the call.

I am supposing we will take about an hour for the call and break-down (it's my first time!), so I'm aiming to leave Kista at 15:30 with the kids, back to school by 16:30. Orlene will be joining us.

LET ME KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY CONCERNS (alternative pick-up times, possible pick-up in Kista for your child, etc).

JUST IN CASE:

To get to Kista

Take the tunnelbana, blue line to "Kista".  It is best if you are in the end of the train, if possible.  When exiting the train at Kista, go down the escalator into Kista Gallerian.  Turn left at the bottom of the escalator, and keep going straight until you exit the Gallerian.  You will continue straight on Kistagången. 

You will walk over a bridge. Keep going.  However, just before you get to the bridge that goes over the road above you, the entrance to the building will be on your right, and you can walk through the revolving doors into the main reception.

The address is Torshamsgatan 23 (you will be on Kistagången, but can enter the Ericsson Headquarters building from there. It is almost impossible to get lost, since it is basically straight the whole way through and from the Gallerian.

A representative from Ericsson ("sustainability department") will say a few words to the kids at the beginning of the session, about how videoconferencing is saving flights, and how this is good for the environment..... 

They can also talk to the Brazilian kids about this at the same time.

We are sure to love the technical set up, it is state of the art, and almost as good as being there.
