CATCH UP POST: Week 16/17

! Sorry for the missing info lately: Got back late from the U.S., have a sick dog this week that I needed to stay home with, and other such niceties!

So, to catch up on things, here's homework, announcements, and summary of the week:

Homework

Math:

Try to finish off the chapter on time, CHP 6... most kids are almost done, but this should not be given MORE THAN an hour and a half throughout the week.

Science:

Reading and Questions about electricity

Announcements

Swimming Test: Klassikern

Thursday, 25/4, 11:10 to 12:00

BRING SWIMMING SUITS (goggles/earplugs/noseplugs etc, optional)

ALSO: PACKED LUNCH!!!

Week In Review

As it was a strange week this week and last for me (absences), we did what we could

Math: The clock, time logic problems, travel time problems, and the 24-Hour clock

Science: Electricity Experiments... testsing static electricity with a balloon, cans, string, each other, and our own hair! Fun stuff!

Reading/Writing: change of book for "George's" Group to "Charlotte's Web", change of book for "Stink" to "The Magic Treehouse", and change of book for "Flat Stanley" to "Number the Stars"

Also, working with the short story "The Monkey's Paw" and literary elements such as setting description, irony, and foreshadowing

Art: Using red, white, and black to design and paint a "Tuscan" village at sunset.
