So, GREAT JOB on the Open House, kids!

• We had a representative from the MiljöDepartementet as a visitor for most of the evening, and she was quite impressed by our work towards Rio+20! So impressed, in fact, that she requested photos of the week and event for posting on the MiljöDept. website! Amazing stuff!

• The presentation from Stockholm Vatten was a success, and the kids learned a lot. This will be followed up with...

• The FIELD TRIP to STOCKHOLM VATTEN: Tuesday the 27th, leaving school around 8:40 and back at 14:30.  BRING A PACKED LUNCH AND A MELLIS SNACK!

As I mentioned the buses aren’t very frequent so my  suggestion is that you take the bus that leaves Brommaplan at 9.40 you will be at the water works 9.55. Back to the city you have should take the 13:35 bus.

The bus 323 leaves from Brommaplan and takes about 15 minutes, you get off at the last station called Strömdal. You will see the plant from the bus stop and to get to the main entrance you’ll  go back a little bit (the same direction as the bus came from) when you are at the main entrance call me at 08-5221 24 97.

Stockholm Vatten - Vatten i världsklass!

• The TIMELINE HOMEWORK has been handed out, and is due the week before Påsk (Thursday the 29th, next week). Directions are included on the form.

• DIVISION HOMEWORK handed out today, due next Thursday.

• National tests still going well, 3 left in Math, 5 more in Swedish. Any child who has missed a test will have time to retake.

• A note: COMPENSATION DAY FOR STUDENTS April 5th! Fritids forms will be given out for those children that need to remain past 11 am, and/or past lunch.

Enligt besked på Lärarmötet i tisdags, kommer eleverna få sluta skolan kl. 11:00 på Skärtorsdag som kompensation för Öppet Hus.

Det betyder att:

Skolbussen på Skärtorsdagen åker tillbaka till Åminnevägens fritidshem kl. 11:00.

Åminnevägens fritidshem bjuder barnen på lunch vid ankomsten.

Obs! föranmälan behövs från alla föräldrar:

Föräldrarna till barn som åker skolbussen på eftermiddagen behöver höra av sig:

 1) till Althea med behov av skolbussen kl. 11 tillbaka till Åminnevägens fritidshem den 5/4 -  althea.wolf@stockholm.se

 2) till Åminnevägens fritidshem med anmälan om att äta lunch den 5/4 – prata med personalen eller skriv till personal@aminnevagensfritidshem.se

Föräldrar till alla andra barn behöver höra av sig till Johannes skolas fritidshem om barnet ska vara kvar på Johannes skola och äta lunch samt till vilken tid barnet ska vara kvar på fritids. Eftersom det

är dagen innan röd dag vill fritids gärna stänga kl. 16:00 om det går.

Alla anmälningar ska göras senast onsdag den 28/3.
