Hi all!
Check this out and respond here on the comment section. Denise will check it...
HI,
Is it possible to do a cake walk fund raiser June 6th?
I can make the flyer to the kids asking them to bring a delicious looking cake or cookies or muffins. (no nuts)
Then I can bring the chalk to draw the circle on the playground, the tickets to sell for 10 kr each, and the music to play for each round.
I was wondering if fritids could make posters to advertise 2 days before.
What time is best for them to do this kind of thing... when most kids are on the playground?

I'm not sure I understand what a cake walk is...
SvaraRaderaCasper won't be at school that day, but I'm sure we could rustle up something to bring in the day before.
Hi!
SvaraRaderaSounds great! Although I don't know what a cake walk is, but anything with cake is probably good:-). Yes, we can bring something.
June 6th is a public holiday and I was wondering if fritids was closed? And if isn't, maybe there wont be that many kids around?
Michelle
Ok... I'm the loser that didn't realize it's a day off from school... so let's make it the 5th.
SvaraRaderaA cake walk is: a circle of chalk on the ground, cut into pie pieces numbered 1 - 16 or so, and each "piece" is sold for 10 kr. and the child who buys, stands on a number. So.. 16 kids standing in a circle. a cake sits in the middle of the circle. the music starts and they begin to walk in a circle. When it stops, they see what number they are standing on, and if it matches the number pulled out of the hat, they walk away with a cake ... "cake walk". Should be fun.I'll send a note on Monday for as many parents to send a cake on the Tuesday. Denise
I have a question too, what we are raising the fund for, is that the class trip?
SvaraRaderaAnyhow, 5th of June will be fine and we can send with Shaden, a cake or muffins.

Is this still on for the 5th?
