Avslutning Day International Party?

Here's the avslutningsdag schedule according to the school... I thought we'd change it up a bit:

The kids and I were thinking we could have a little "International Party" as a farewell festivity for the end of the year...

This would really be up to you as parents, as I'm sure you'd be doing the shopping (and cooking?), so please let me know ASAP if this is not a good idea...

Seeing as we have so many different nationalities within our class, apart from Swedish, we thought each child could bring in a yummy dish typical from his/her other country :) Some children even want to wear their other country's colors or typical dress (cowboy hat for me? nah.)

... It would be nice to all get together and celebrate oour international profile, and to say a quick "goodbye". So, what do you think?

9.00    5th Grade: (samling i klassrummet?) We'd slowly start coming in with our dishes, to leave in the classroom for later.

10.00 Alla på skolgården

10.45 This is when I was thinking we could have out "International Party" in the classroom... food/drinks/desserts for everyone; a little celebration before we leave...
