HW: From here on out, it's basically studying for the Final Math Test and finishing up the Narrative Story (which is due the week of June 2nd) and Irony Writing...
This week:
I.)
Finish
your 1st Draft Narrative Story...if I've given you
corrections, use them!
If not, finish your first draft and "book an appointment" to see me during writing class on Monday or Wednesday…
For homework, you should've taken home your goal sheet: FOLLOW YOUR GOALS while writing...
If you can, have a friend or
family member check your story along with the goals. Remember...
Here are the most important things to keep in mind, from your goals:
AGS
No gaps in thoughts/staying on topic
Variation
Ending linking to beginning!
Description of thoughts and feelings… and appearances
Make it a STORY! (text sounds like a story; beginning, development of characters setting and situation, problem, climax, resolution, ending)
Bring it back on Monday!!
II.)
Math
test: June 3rd
Your job is to make a cheat sheet based on ALL the topics we've worked on
this year: take your WWK WWWTK sheet with you to try to make a 15cm x 15cm sheet, front and back, with any info you think you'll need for the test...
Here are this year's units:
Fractions
Decimals
Percentage
Angles
Borrowing over 0s
Geometry: Area Perimeter
Problem Solving Steps
Multiplication methods
Short division with remainder in equation AND remainder in answer 374/3
Weight
Probability
So, you should make the sheet, both sides, and for each unit you'll be writing down the equations,
steps, formulas, methods, tips, things you’re unsure about… anything that will
help you know and understand/remember these topics! Write as small as you want
:)
Bring them back on Monday!
OK, that's it for now... Info about avslutning dag coming soon...
